Obtain consistent and accurate results while saving money
  • Pre-filled reagent vials for either EPA-approved or mercury-free COD analysis
  • Quality analyzed to provide you hassle-free consistent results
  • Don''t change your instrument or method—vials work with Hach, Orbeco, Chemetrics, and Thermo COD systems!
Pre-filled with COD reagents, these digestion vials come in either EPA-approved or mercury-free versions for low-, standard-, and ultra-high-range analysis. Each lot is tested to ensure superior quality from the cap and vial to the chemical contents. Glass vials are 16 mm x 100 mm to work with your existing COD reactor and spectrophotometer. Simply add 2 mL of your sample, heat in your digestor, and read in your spectrometer.

Although mercury-free vials are not approved for EPA Methods, they may be used for non-EPA COD testing when chlorine interferrence is not a factor. Ultra-high-range reagent vials have also not approved for EPA testing methods. COD digestion vials may contain acid, mercury, and silver and must be disposed of properly.
